I’ll take any suggestions no matter how stupid they may seem. Check the ‘audio midi setup panel’ the mbox 2 mini is plugged in, and in the same usb port it was installed on, but also the original mbox has the exact same problem now In the audio setup panel asio is selected, the input is greyed out, outputs is ‘ASIO digidesign driver’ When you click the panel to change the buffer settings the device is listed as ‘unknown’ if i click the advanced button it thinks for a while then pops up: Standalone Mbox – just me, a mic and a dat recorder.. I have downloaded the standalone drivers from Digidesign and installed them correctly, as now my computer is recognizing the Mbox 2 Mini green light is on , but Reaper will no find it in the devices drop down, i have tried everything in the ASIO section but have failed miserably! Thanks tom, i didnt go through that uninstall because the first thing it says is “any currently installed digidesign drivers will remain intact” so i figure thats no real difference from the uninstall in control pannel?
